Namie makes a surprise appearance at Okinawa International Film Festival

Well this was a huge surprise. Did most people actually know that there was one? Apparently it's on it's second year. "Laugh and Peace" is this year's theme, and it's taking place along Ginowan. Apparently last year she was offered to come, being Okinawan herself (they also say that Namie is what Okinawa is most known for), but couldn't due to tour scheduling conflicts. 35,000 fans gathered to cheer her on!
