It also revealed that Namie is dating a comedian/singer by the name of Atsushi Tamura. Supposedly, he started going to Namie's home parties, or family gatherings, and is very affectionate with her. All of their friends know that they are dating and a mutual friend of both even used a picture of Amuro and Atsushi's to prove that he was present at the time. The friend that 'leaked' this news goes by the name of 'H'. Remember how Namie was mentioned to have gone to Los Angeles for New Year's? Well, supposedly she and Atsushi had went to the airport on seperate days for a "secret" trip. People were skeptical about this until photos of the two in America surfaced

J-pop star Amuro Namie (32, profile) and Yoshimoto comedian Tamura Atsushi (36) are the latest Japanese showbiz "power couple," according to today's issue of women's weekly magazine "Josei Seven." Though they left Japan on separate flights to Los Angeles at the end of December, the pair were spotted on a flight to Phoenix. From there they headed to the spectacular scenery of Sedona, Arizona. During their 9-day trip, the couple were seen holding hands and cuddling so there is little doubt that they are in a relationship, but their respective management agencies refused to comment. One half of the comedy duo London Boots No.1 No.2 (profile), Tamura has been popular with the ladies for many years and has had romances with the likes of talentos Fujisaki Nanako (32) and Wakatsuki Chinatsu (25), and actress Nakagoshi Noriko (30). A relationship with an "ippanjin" (someone not in showbiz) ended last September. He and Amuro met at a mutual friend's house party last summer. Amuro has had a roller coaster career, starting at the Okinawa Actors School before she hit her teens. She rode the Eurobeat wave in the early 1990s and was at the peak of her solo success in 1997 when, at the age of 20, she became pregnant and married TRF dancer Sam (47). She continued her career, even overcoming the murder of her mother in 1999 and divorce in 2002. Her popularity has been resurgent in the last couple of years, helped partly by her image as a working single mother.

Amuro dating Lonboo's Tamura
According to the latest issue of Josei Seven, singer Namie Amuro (32) and comedian Atsushi Tamura (36) are currently a couple. The two were apparently seen taking a trip together in the U.S. this past week.
The magazine reports that Amuro flew from Narita to Los Angeles on December 28, and Tamura followed on the next day. The pair met up there, then took a flight together to Phoenix, Arizona. On the plane, they sat in adjacent seats, and Amuro was seen sleeping with her head on Tamura's shoulder.
Throughout their trip, which lasted 9 days and 7 nights, Amuro and Tamura were often seen cuddling up to each other or holding hands. In Arizona, they visited the scenic Sedona area and checked into a hidden resort hotel.
Amuro was previously married to SAM (47) of TRF from 1997 to 2002, and since then she has raised their 11-year-old son by herself.Although she has normally celebrated New Year's Day with her son, she had someone else taking care of him this time while she went on her trip with Tamura.

London Boots comedian Atsushi Tamura, 36, and singer Namie Amuro, 32, have been outed by weekly tabloid Josei Seven as the new couple of 2010, by reporting on the pair’s top secret trip to Arizona over the New Year.
Josei Seven’s issue out Wednesday has photos of the couple, who first met at a party last summer, holding hands and leaning on each other’s shoulders, all the while smiling along.
Amuro flew out of Narita airport on Dec 28 on a flight to Los Angeles, and Tamura flew out on Dec 29. The pair were spotted together boarding a domestic flight for Phoenix, and Amuro was seen napping on Tamura’s shoulder during the flight.
Tamura and Amuro were later seen checking into an exclusive resort in Sedona, famous for its beautiful array of sandstone formations.
Both of their offices declined to comment on their week-long stay in the U.S.
