to assuage fears (please share)
I'm sure many of us were devastated by what's been happening in Japan. There's no words to describe what's been going on. Since this is Namie's community I wanted to make a little update about the nature of her supposed whereabouts, since it would be farily natural for us to be concerned for her. As was posted on the twitter, a fan from the NamieStyle forums said that "Namie is in Rome." I'm not sure how or why this fan knows this, but the news has spread like wildfire and I just want to show where it's coming from:

Also, on the people finder google has set up for people to get know more about the status of their loved ones, someone by the name of R assures that she is okay and on the 12th there is a post under another name that is supposedly Namie wanting everyone to know that she is safe, and during that time she posted near the Rome airport.

The sheer pecularity of the posts lead me believe that they have merit, as well as the numerous trips Namie's been loving to take to Europe, work-related or not. If it's not true, then someone's being a pointless fan. Avoid making up rumors about the status of people in such a difficult time. Most importantly, let's hope Haruto-kun and the rest of her family are safe.
