A Pirate's Toast
We swing into the Port, and moored our vessel swiftly
Docked along the bay,
Leaving our docks, we make our way
Swagger to the Black Jack
Hoping for some boucan,
Hey there, Matey! Toss back yer pints,
And join us for a while!
Barkeep! Give us three
Glorious goblets of mead.
Together, we have conquered the seas
So now we sing, “Huzzah!”

Our Captain has fastened a shroud
Upon his head to make a crown
He fills it up with gold
To buy our drinks ten-fold,
Our joy has been foretold.
Barkeep! Your attention, now!
We’d like three pints of Imperial Stout,
The road to the tavern is rocky,
So we’ll feel no pain when we falter.
We’ll feel no pain when the lights go out.
And to my friends! My Mateys!
We’ll shimmy the morn upon the waves.
Tonight, tonight, My Mateys!
Let’s live for the thrill of night in our drinks.
In the morning the boaty’ll drop,
We’ll surely be gone and the fun will stop.
Returning at last to the call of the sea,
Meeting Death is our destiny.

The seas rather choppy,
The air so thick and foggy,
Best get a few pints to lighten the load,
And another to guide us home.
