This post is long overdue, and I apologize for its tardiness.
I wanted to thank the many friends and family over the past year who supported my therealljidol entries in Season 9. I also wanted to take a moment to thank all of the beta readers. n3m3sis43, theun4givables, jexia, neonyellow7, thisisallido, amandalor, and especially zedmanauk. Many thanks to anyone I may have missed. You guys are seriously the best!
I lasted 26 weeks, which I thought was a pretty good run, but things got very busy for me around week 22. Ending then was for the best, since life got in the way, and I was hospitalized shortly after. One bout of pancreatitis and an emergency cholecystectomy procedure later, I'm at home, starting to put life back together. Celebrating Thanksgiving and the holidays without a gall bladder will prove interesting this year, but I'm grateful to be home and otherwise healthy.
Things are starting to return to normal S-L-O-W-L-Y, but I'm forever playing catch up, while trying to remain afloat during the holiday madness of concerts, pageants and obligations. I have a lot of reading to do, and even more writing too. I plan to contribute a few home game pieces when I can, and I'll keep reading here (even if I don't comment).
In the mean time, I hope things are good in your world. I hope each of you are safe.
