Thanks to thoughtful friends a copy of Us Weekly has been showing up in my mailbox. This weeks issue has as its cover story is an article about Jessica Simpsons scandalous weight fluctuations. What I found funny is that a page or two before there was a great photo of Jack Black with his hot wife Tanya Hayden and their super cute kids. (Jack subscribes to the Tyler-Jagger method on producing attractive offspring) they caught him at the beach in full on side shot of the massive gut. No mention of how Jack is totally overweight, no mention on how there may be something else in their relationship that may be at play other than six pack abs...but Jessica is excoriated over an extra couple of pounds. Hmmm. I think something worth looking into is weather or not she (cough, the economy) was kidding when she (ahem, the war in Iraq) asked if buffalos had (harrumph, 600,000 lost jobs in January) wings.
