Vioreen (asian speak- "violin")

I just finished my application for Oberlin. Thank major religious figure, I got that proverbial monkey of of my literal back. Finally. Now I'm filling out all sorts of dumb shit (i.e. FAFSA, CCS Profile, etc.) for financial AIDS. It's worse than actually applying for schools, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up throwing my computer at someone sometime tonight.

On an extremely positive note, my teachers loaned me their uber nice Italian violin, dated 1776. We put new Tonica Vision strings on it, and they also loaned me a Nurnberger bow, so the thing sounds fucking amazing. Its precisely what I needed, because I was getting really fed up with sounding like shit, and I didn't realize how much of it was the violin I was playing, which wasnt bad, but wasnt fantastic. I've already practiced about 3 hours on it today, and it's blowing me away, so much to the point that I'm less worried about auditions and more worried about sounding too good. not really. I still am not good, but this at least lets me pretend I'm halfway non suck-ass.

School has been treating well, because I just go to Humanities, have intellectual and physical orgasms there, and then go to Denny's during Senior Seminar and Wendy's during math. I'm not going to my 2nd period of the day all this week, and I have absolutely no qualms about doing that... senioritis is the best disease I've ever had.

I heard a joke today, and I cant decide if it's horrific, or horrifcally funny... (david chase told me this, ironically)

Why don't people in Indonesia have showers?
Because they wash up on the beach.

*crying on the inside from typing that*
