College is so stressful, and I'm not even in it yet. I still havent applied to Oberlin (deadline Jan. 15) and I have applied to Boston Con. and Cleveland Institute, and I have good news bears regarding those. My Boston audition is on Feb. 25th at Benaroya Hall in Seattle at 10 AM. As far as CIM goes, they were full by the time my app got in, ( Read more... )

didnt you get deferred or something for Oberlin? your audition was good from what I recall... but something about them being full perhaps?

Juiliard people kill themselves, but they're good as hell
Curtis you don't pay tuition but they don't let you do anything
Eastman is... in Rochester.

curtis is where oboist kill themselves...literally...and i loooove the teachers at Julliard so much and yah...I got deferred by the admissions office after being accepted at my audition

woot bitches,, when I get tired of practicing freshman year, I'll just smash my violin into splinters and stab myself with said objects.

Actually, NYU has the most suicides out of any college. (I'm 95% sure of this) when I was there with Ben, we were walking outside with my friends Aaron and Liz, and they were saying how this guy threw himself off the 8th floor inside the library and came down and hit the lobby, and the acoustics were amazing in there... you get the picture.

props for not dying, I too didnt die on my 4 day excursion there. Got really drunk and high and bought ciagarettes and porn with Ben, but didnt die. visited juiliard about 4 times w/different people, and almost got killed by the competitive atmosphere, but I came through alright. made a really loud sexist joke in a fancy restaurant and got bitched at by a group of ladies having dinner, laughed with by everyone else...

oh, less than a month ago i could say "i'm 16 years old, and i'm graduating from high school in a little over 6 months." wow you and i are so unique. except now i'm 17, haha.
