My favorite time of year...
Is right now and it's ridiculously hot. Thank you global warming. I will probably sweat my ass off Halloween night in U-city because of this. Or it will freeze off. No happy medium, I swear. Well, last week was just right, a nice, cool 65, but then it rained and got hot again. I was already to pull out my jacket and light sweaters, out away the ac and then I woke up in a sweltering mess.
But I digress. I can't wait to carve pumpkins. I have about 6 patterns that I'm dying to cut, but I can't really afford to carve that many. I did 4 last year. And I have a cool porch to display them on, but nobody really comes over by me. Other than that, things are going well. I finished one of my classes for my master's program, which I panicked a bit over, but it turned out okay.
And I found out the depth to which I actually love someone. It was hard, and a lot of pain in some of it, but it got a lot better once he realized that he was emotionally invested. There was a lot of questioning, on both our parts, but after a lot of searching we found what was missing. And now it's so much better.
