The thing that made it awesome was that the necklace said, 'Barack Obama, Mr. President'.

I can report that, around the world (but especially in Ethiopia), Obama is loved beyond all reason. There are numerous cafes and pool halls and amenity stands already named after him.

What is an amenity stand?

This is making me envision little tables at the side of the road like rest-stops that sell basic things like batteries and tampons and painkillers and soda. Only, they're like, 'Barack Obama Honorary Batteries and Tampons and Painkillers and Soda'.

I'm sure the reality is much less exciting, but I would totally buy Barack Obama Honorary... anything.

On a related note, I recently dreamt that Hugh Jackman was a guest in our house, and would help out with household chores like vacuuming, and whenever I came home he'd flop on the couch next to me and ask me questions about my day. And then, once, his fingers strayed down near to my pudendum...and met the crinkly-crink of a menstrual pad. We were both so embarrassed. I remember assuring him, no, it's fine, and hoping he knew it was a menstrual pad and not a diaper.
