guys, the olympics are awesome!
I'm surprised every time they come around by how much I love the Olympics. And also how I find out about these awesome sports I've never heard of.
This year is no exception.
I am in love with synchronized diving.
This is where two people dive together, trying to look EXACTLY the same in every single aspect (height, body position, rate of spinning, angle of water-entry, etc).
It's bizarre to watch how much they look like robots sometimes, but it's incredibly beautiful.
Here are some highlights of the women's 3 meter springboard event.

(Both of these were won by the Chinese, by the way.)
Also, keep in mind that diving off a 10 meter platform is like jumping off a 3 story building.
