Who is "clamoring" for what?
The average American does not, much less the average university lunkhead, realize the extent that China is currently playing the rest of the world by its strings.
China's trade surplus is now equal to a full 8% of its GDP, much of that share is by the good ole' US of A.
The Chinese government takes basic human greed and rides on it for full advantage. Foreign companies literally fight with each other and step over each other's toes trying to get a piece of the big Chinese pie.
With profit being THE objective for foreigners, all China has to do is to ask "What was that you just said?" to any demands for adherences to any rule and regulation. China makes those rules on their turf. Don't like that? Try planting your money tree somewhere else.
All China has to do to bring America completely to its knees is to stop the provision of goods and debt. The American economy would experience a complete and utter collapse.
The ignorance and arrogance of those who are really living under the good graces of the Chinese government (i.e. those who make silly remarks about how China is "clamoring" while it is really the Americans who are doing the clamoring) should really read up on some world news before opening their big mouths on the topic ever again.
