Potterpalooza
So let's face it, the summer's been great so far. But you and I both know it was all a formality to kill time until Potterpalooza descended on us all. Near as I can tell, the hype around book #7 is a bit subdued compared to the last time around, seeing as how there don't seem to be any scandals about betting on which characters will be killed off. (Though I personally think that Snape - good guy or not - is getting the axe).
But anyhow... Item of Business #1. Order of the Phoenix opens tonight. At midnight. Seeing as how I'm too much of an old fogey to dress up in a Cornelius Fudge costume and stay out until 4am on a work day, I'm thinking I'll catch it tomorrow. Anybody interested?
Item of Business #2. Next weekend, in honor of the Deathly Hallows release, Coolidge Corner is transforming itself into Hogs Meade. Sounds pretty awesome.
