Damn. Two months, eh. That's gotta be a record lj drought for me.
Anyhow, I'm settled down in Boston for the rest of the summer. It's been a hectic move, involving one renter who bailed on us 48 hours before we were supposed to move in. We ended up finding a new place a few days later and, even though it's slightly pricier and slightly more located in a kind of nether-region between Porter and Davis, it's nice to finally be settled down. Plus the new place comes with a gas grill, so expect some barbecuing in the near future.
Work at Greater Boston Legal Services (or as babelfish calls it, "maximum legal parts of the tuna of the forest") has been pretty good. Already saved one client from eviction, and got to spend some time hanging out in the courthouse as well.
So that's the quick and dirty version of the last few months. It's been exhausting, but now it's time to kick back, watch some Zahi Hawass documentaries and cook up the summer's first batch of homebrew.
