You know, it's often forgot about, but there is one other movie out there that's about falling ass-backward into the good things in life. Cocktail.

I actually share your sentiment, though. I have busted my hump to try and get the life I thought I wanted, missed on several fronts, but have "missed lucky" enough times that I've just decided that's the proper way for things to go. It's a good life, so I don't question a system that seems to work.

That's an adorable picture, BTW, and it's awesome to see that much raw glee out of a visit to Disneyland. I grew up being only an hour's drive from Orlando, and have the requisite Disney cynicism that all locals have. It's great to remember that Disney is a place of joy for so many people.

Now, I will fully admit that EPCOT was a seminal thing in my childhood. It was the first place to fill my head with visions of the amazing opportunities and possibilities that the future would hold if I were to only go work on making the future happen. I would probably not be in technology now without those early dreams.
