Entry #B-4: "Bite"

Jan 21, 2009 22:06

Well. It's been a while.

Today was interesting. I went to school last-minute and dissheveled, as usual, and rode the bus, as usual. So many people who smell like tobacco and ethnic food.

Linguistics class concerned the history of languages and the applications and traits of dead languages. I got a 4.0 "excellent" on my homework, but I knew I would. I'm enjoying my new major very much.

I saw Nicole this afternoon, and ate lunch with her and Elise. Had a long conversation with the latter after Nicole departed to write a paper. We discussed music; Modest Mussorgsky, in particular. Even though she hadn't heard of him, she did recognize the main Great Gate of Kiev, which was encouraging. Honestly, when the sun expands, I think that the loss of Pictures at an Exhibition will be very tragic.

Math lab this afternoon. Math class this evening.

Astronomy quiz tomorrow. I want to continue my trend of being the first one to hand quizes and tests in, and maintain my serial perfect scores. Also Japanese. I'm not stressed. It'll be great.

Said good-bye to a wonderful RP a couple days ago. Ultimately, it's for the best, but I'll miss it. Comme ci, comme ca. I'm in four other games, but CU is pretty special. I made friends, and have good memories, so it was 100% worthwhile.
