[Tumnus had re-awoken in his room two days prior and he hadn't left until now. It had taken time for the memories to begin to surface again and when they had, the faun could only pray that he was mistaken.
But he hadn't been.
The proof of his actions lay in the very pages of the journals they had all been given upon their initial arrival and he'd had more than enough time on his own to go through its pages.
More than enough time to learn why he had woken in his room covered in blood that he did not believe was his own.
Tumnus the faun had
murdered two innocents .. two innocents he had considered friends. He had murdered them and brutalized their bodies and taken pleasure in the actions.
He remembered then encountering
Dastan and Tus before being finally brought down.]
I am damned ..
[The words are scarcely more than a whisper over the journals before the book slips mindlessly from his numb fingers and falls to the rain soaked ground, forgotten. He sits silently on the ground outside the Barracks, rain hammering down upon his unresisting and broken form, shoulders slumped and head hanging.
He would never forgive himself and could scarcely imagine anyone else could either ..]
[Bother a faun?]
