One of many songs sung by an jewish orthodox ethnic-rock band at the wedding I was at yesterday.
The wedding was at Bat-Ain, which is a jewish town, about 25 kilometers in the west bank. (it's a settler's camp)
The younger generation of orthodox jews contains a good amount of teenagers and people in their twenties who might seem not religious at first sight, they dress in a very junkie way, their Kipas are strange hats, they have dreadlocks, they smoke and drink, (which is not very common in the orthodox scene, to my knowledge at least) and yet, they are more extreme in their views, religion, and of course, actions.
The passion that they have for what they are doing is scary.
