Heyho Merry-O! Okay I don't know why I typed that.. It just came to my mind. Heh. Anyhoos, me here is a happy camper. 'Cos the GDOP dancers finally had a mini gathering though not all were able to come. But good laughs, LOADS of food and just watching our dance together was a good enough catch-up. 'Twas good.
Adrenalin was good too, despite it being catered for the younger crowd. I thought the speaker who spoke for both days was really good and really entertaining as well. Thank God for Youth Alive's minstry. I think they are really doing an amazing job! Oh and did I mention Switchfoot who performed on the Friday was one of the main reason why I wanted to go for Youth Alive Adrenalin (I know wrong main purpose but hey it was still good I went 'cos it was a good experience!) Back to Switchfoot, they were HAWT live BTW, and we had an awesome view, they were just THERE. Haha. The band was superduper with their playing, and entertainment value was through the roof man. There was this point when they suddenly stopped playing and just posed in their positions for a good 45seconds at least (I even have it down on video for proof okay! And if you can see the collage I did, there's this red pic in the middle, that's the pose they stood in) and it felt damn surreal. It was like a picture man 'cos they really were absolutely still. Not forgetting when Jon Foreman actually walked into the crowd and stood among them singing, and he even whipped out his harmonica to play. Shiokadoos man I tell you!
Okay enough raving about that, today's weather was superb! PERFECT! And we had a BBQ at Heathcote! What a perfect way to start Spring! Turn out was smaller than we expected but it's all good man. At least we all got to talk a bit more and hang out with each other, played with Wei Hao & Serene's dogs (Jesse & Prince), and also got to play with some Scottish little girls! I still can't believe it's September already!! A few more days to MY DAY! Hoho!
Enough peekatures for you? Haha so I was just reading Disa's blog just now and man! She really makes me feel like flying to Bangkok right now to shop lah! So cheap! And so nice! Ahh!! I WANT TO GO NOW!! Argh!
