This is my 2nd night of freedom in "the world" and its definately an odd experiance. Its almost like seeing the world again, for the first time.
The homeless guys here in California seem to beg a little bit better. Smell a little less ripe. And don't offer me sexual favors.
The air, while not super clean, is not the putrid mixture of sewage and dust constantly assualting my nasal cavity.
The cars are not all possibly laden with explosives lying in wait for the perfect time to make my head a-splode.
And the Dodge Neon I rented is not "up armored" nor does it need to be. There will not be an explosive device placed on the roadside with the intention of blowing me up. Thus...no armor for the Neon.

The more I talk to everyone about the party (Did I mention its Oct. 15th at 5pm at mom and dad's house?) the more excited I get. LunchBox claims the bon fire is already bigger than all previous years. This may hamper fire surfing. I know I already said I won't be doing it, but I'm still entertaining the thought. I had it over for tea earlier and discussed the possibility of manifestation into action. So...who knows?!?!
Bring your own chairs, please.
IN OTHER NEWS:
We went and saw Shaun Of the Dead last night. It was hilarious. If you aren't into cheeky British comedy I'd tell you to avoid this movie. Especially if you never liked (read:understood) Monty Python. But we were quite entertained to learn that dogs cannot, in fact, look up. Little known fact.
