Joel rocks...
It is 4:30am and for the last two hours me and Joel have had an amazing heart to heart. I can't do it justice in words. We laughed, we almost cried, and we appreciated all the things we have and have been able to do and see. We talked about our parents (how hard they have tried and how good they did and how well we turned out), love and marriage, scouting, the last year and how much we have grown up, and all kinds of other stuff. This last year with Joel has been amazing, same goes for Pat and Don. I really couldn't ask for better roommates for my first year of college, we learned through our own mistakes, and I have learned some lessons be just watching them. And Im sure they have learned lessons from my mistakes. We have had our arguements, but we are still like brothers in this house. I don't need a frat to learn brotherhood, this townhouse has done just fine. Some may say that I picked odd roommates becuase we don't have hardly any of the same views on morallity, but I would say they are wrong becuase we work great because we all respect each others views and dont argue. We are cool with being on diffrent pages in life, but still in the same chapter. Joel has some pretty far out views and concepts of life and what he is going to do with it, but im not concerned because I know that he will end up just fine in the end. We are headed to the same place, just taking diffrent paths, and some might be longer and harder, but as Joel says "It's not the years of your life, but the life in your years."
