Description: The Vanecor are generally harmless creatures, easily scared away by any threatening forces. Should they be attacked and captured, they will try to fight back with their sharp claws. They can either travel in packs or on their own, depending on the environment. Offspring learn to be on their own from a very early age, they become apt for mating when they hit their sixth month of life (by Earth standards). They tend to be more independent in the wild; urban places attract larger groups.
Vanecors have a preference for bugs and fruits. Fruit that already comes with the former is a bonus (some farmers are known to illegally use vanecors to pick out crops with bugs in them, which they identify through sound and smell). In cities, they're easily found in garbage bins and dirtier restaurants. If one should ever make way into your residence (or airship, which is frequent), you will probably find it in the bathroom or kitchen. Cooler surfaces cause a very pleasant sensation on their paws.
They're easily domesticated, but keeping one as a pet can be a bit of a controversy. They're mostly regarded as pests because of how easily they can adapt to different environments and spread disease.
Vanecor are better known for their unique antennae. As soon as exposed to the climate, they can determine its conditions and future changes. They can predict storms up to ten days before it takes form, causing them to migrate immediately to a safer place. They can travel up to 80km in one day.
