Oh yes! I forgot to say.
My groupmate Renny belongs to a band and I never thought much about it. Not that I thought they weren't good, just that the only song I've heard the band play was a chinese rock song, and frankly I don't like chinese rock songs.
BUT!!!
I heard her solo recording just now, Mr You, which she wrote herself. From lyrics to composition everything. And she sounded sooo good seriously. Very professional not amateur at all and I really liked the tune and she sounded really mature and totally different from her normal self. Gosh I just kept gushing about how wonderful it was and how proud I was to have her as a friend. Haha. And I heard this other recording of her singing her school (IJ) song in her own way and the way she sang it was just..some parts were really powerful and for some reason I felt very inspired and touched by the song. Gosh she's amazing. I'm always in awe of such talented people.
