Howdy! It appears I'm about to be in the market for maternity clothes. I went hunting through the tags, and it seems the last post on the subject was a couple of years ago. I did buy a plus size belly band at Motherhood and I like it. It works really well in holding up my unbuttoned pants although I still find any stiff fabric (like jeans with no stretch) to be too uncomfortable, even unzipped. For a few pairs of pants, I can still just put a hair rubber band in the waistline and still wear them comfortably.
Anyway, I'm frustrated at the lack of choices for maternity clothes. I did go to a "mother/child" resale shop and didn't expect to find any plus sizes but there were a few items, which I was pleased about. I was able to buy one pair of jeans there, although I haven't been able to wear them yet because I'll need them hemmed.
Since you are smaller on top, you might be able to fit some xl maternity tops from Target. I didn't think they would work for me but a friend gave me some of her hand me down t-shirts and they fit with some room to grow.

I'm definitely hitting up the thrift/resale stores soon, too!
It's sounding like I might be able to get away with my regular wardrobe for a good long while, if I get some longer shirts and a belly band. Good to know- pants are expensive!
