Belly dancing question & bonus videos!
Hello lovelies!
I'm in the midst of setting up a belly dance performance (little ATS, lotta fusion) and part of the dance has me strung up like a marionette doll.
Now, I recall that someone in the community had posted up a video of them doing a belly dance performance as a marionette puppet. Which one of you was it? I'm not having the best of moments with my search-fu. And I would like to watch it again so that I can be sure that 1) I'm not ripping off any of the moves or the makeup, and 2) so I can share it with other belly dancing friends in my area.
I had my first two non-class performances this year! My dance partner and I only have 1 routine but it was well received each time. First up was TC's Party at Plaza De Anaya in Tempe, AZ:
Second up is the same performance--with a few tweaks and some lines and obvious practice and me being WAY nervous--just done with the DREAD Fleet at Phoenix ComiCon 2013. OMG, ComiCon. Our performance is within the first ten minutes of the clip; they don't have it parsed into smaller clips, sadly. (that was their intention, but alas)
We come in at 4:35, for those who don't want to hear the crazy long introduction. I am the one who looks like they're in all black; the lighting drowned out all my blue stuff, sadly.
