Shoes for San Francisco?

Hi, all! It's been a long while since I last posted!

This summer, I've got an internship in San Francisco, and for the life of me, I can't find a decent pair of shoes to wear.

My main issue is that I'm over 6' tall, wear a size 28/30, and need women's size 12 shoes; in short, they've got to be crazy-supportive, but they also have to come in a ( Read more... )

I'm rather fond of New Balance shoes, and their casual/dressy shoe line, Aravon. I know they go up to size 12, and they tend to be dressier than Keen/Dansko type shoes.

I never realized they went up to a size 13--and, they have a few mary janes that look promising!

Aravon! I have ridiculously high arches, and they are very, very supportive. They also have great traction, and they're LIGHT! Almost like not having a shoe on at all.

3rding aravon. i find their sandals run a bit large-- some I ordered in 12, i could have done with an 11 i think. I just picked up the aravon kendall (in metallic bronze!) and I'm loving it. check joes new balance outlet for steals on last year's stuff.

another recc would be ros homerson. I love their boots and have heard people swear by their pumps.
