some OOTD shots

Nov 12, 2012 11:44

Apologies for my lack of being around here. To make up for my lack of being around, I have some OOTD shots to share, just past the cut.

I'm 5'3", approximately 235 pounds.

This was back at the beginning of October. I attended a wedding.
Top: Lane Bryant
Camisole tank: Kirkland brand from Costco
Skirt (not in photo, sadly) : purchased from a small shop in Atlanta GA. (Skirt is gradient shades of light blue with horizontal ribbon stripes every six or so inches)
Ear cuffs: from Ear Charms, found here
Necklace: purchased in St John, USVI, in 2004--it's hand made with lovely beads and shell pieces.

Halloween!
Top: Lane Bryant
Corset: Moresca brand, purchased at Atlanta RenFaire in 2008, the Pirate Bodice.
Skirt: bought on sale at Nordstrom in 2009
Boots: Cuupids by Steve Madden (I don't think they're being sold anymore :( )
Lightsabre: from Ultra Sabers
Hat: borrowed
Mask: $4 find at Frys Grocery

Worn on election day... but it's because I had a portfolio presentation in my Life Drawing class.
Dress: Lane Bryant --this dress is linen and it never fails to get wrinkled the moment I even think about sitting down! Even so, I love it.
Sandals: Birkenstocks
Necklace: gift from sig-other

Shirt: Hadoken by Glitch Gear, found here
Shorts: Lane Bryant
Sandals: Teva flipflops
Reason I look bored: I was tired and doing everything I could to stay awake; I was also between classes and had finished all the [at the time] available homework.

So those are the outfits that I managed to get decent shots of. Although it's November, I'm in Arizona, which means that the temps are fluxing between 'I can still wear shorts' and 'holyfrak I need to actually put on a pair of socks' on a day to day basis. Once the temps are firmly in the range of 'need to wear socks' and 'wow I can actually wear my polar fleece vest from REI', I'll hopefully have some more OOTD shots to share. Hopefully.

In the meantime, stay warm and safe everyone!
