Question! My friend and I are potentially planning a trip down to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA and I was wondering how size restrictive they are? I've lost a lot of weight since I asked this question (about Harry Potter World, two years ago), and I'm now about 53" chest/55" hips, the website said there were larger seats for people with chests ( Read more... )

I was just there in June. The chest/shoulder area was the only area of concern for me, in that some of the coasters that fasten over the shoulders (like the Griffon) don't leave as much room as I would have liked. But the seat widths were fine. They also have sample seats outside of all the rides.

Yeah, when I went to Universal I fit in everything that fastened over the lap but none of the chest ones fit. What are your measurements, if I can ask?

Honestly, I have no idea. I am 5'10" and 240 and my weight is pretty evenly distributed (with some extra in the belly area).

I did not fit into the Apollo roller coaster at 220 pounds/5'4". It only had a lap bar, and wouldn't go down far enough over my thighs. Mortifying. Other than that, no problems.
