Foxy Flipdeedoo

I have this weird shrug. I fell in love with it online, and then when it arrived it fit strangely...it's weirdly loose on one arm, and it also leaves eyelash yarn fuzzies all over. But every once in a while, when I want I want to feel like a rock star, I'll throw it on otherwise boring outfit and vamp it up for the day. It works to varying degrees, sometimes even within the same day--one student asked me today if I am wearing an actual fox, another, even less well-versed in fashion accessory vocab said, "Miss, I like your...uh...flipdeedoo."

Going with the "rock star" theme, my pendant is a piece of friend's cymbal; she died in June, and her husband had pendants made from her beloved and battered cymbals for Christmas. You can see little dings in it from her playing, and I loved thinking of that when getting ready to go out into the world this morning.  I matched my eye makeup more to that brass than anything else--it's a little shimmery for me for daytime, but I think I needed a little of that on this gray day.

And, I'm still trying to figure out where in my house I can take a decent whole-body shot, without a lot of luck so far. But, if you put these two shots together, you'll have a good sense of the head-to-toe!
