Wide-legged rainboots?

Hello lovelies. So, after spending a lifetime in Arizona, I've moved to Savannah, Georgia, and am HOMFG determined to get myself a pair of rainboots! (Never seemed much of a point in AZ, lol). However, I've got some pretty wide calves - I can't fit into Torrid's rainboots, even. Does anyone know of any good places to look? I want them to be pretty ( Read more... )

If you search evans.co.uk for "wellies," you should turn up some cute boots made for wide calves.

I'm not much help--BUT...I'm a Colorado girl born and raised and just moved to Louisiana. I'm totally feeling you on the rain boots...I want! :)

I'm hoping the in ground pool in the back yard of the house we have under contract will help with that. I hate the heat in CO...I'm kinda terrified of summer down here! :)

Central air will be your new best friend, as will that pool. :D

It's a very very humid heat, so pace yourself, it's very easy to overdo it and not realize it til you start feeling sick. :)

i found some bogs that i believe have been discontinued at winners in canada (a tj-maxx type store, maybe even owned by them) but i swear I saw something similar at kohls a few days ago. they lace up and have a stretch gusset. The rubber ended up digging into my legs, but the size 11 fit 20"+ calves.

Erm, how much are you willing to spend? I have LARGE calves, about 22" so I feel you on the pain of finding rubber boots. I ordered mine from here http://www.jileon.com/extra_wide_fit_wellies.html The 50" circumference they give seems to be with the gussets closed, I have PLENTY of room in them when I open the gussets up a little, even with bulky jeans.

Right now they dont seem to have sizes above an 8 but I know they carry larger since I ordered like an 11...Like I said they arent cheap once you factor in currency conversions and delivery (ouch) but I really wanted rubber boots!!!

I love mine, never thought Id have rainboots, much less ones with poke-a-dots! The idea of spending that much on rain boots kinda made me ill (considering how cheap they are from target!) but whatever, they are cute and the bottom of my jeans are no longer soaked!
