Hehe. I enjoyed this.
Yeah, I think the worst ones are "You're not fat" and "you're not like other fat people".
And I'm not big on the "you've got such a pretty face, if ONLY..." my face is hideous and it will continue to be so and it will like it, thanks. :P

Yeah I get the "you're not fat" one a lot and I'm like....don't be so stupid. I am fat. Why try and tell me I'm not when it's an actual fact?

Because subconsciously they think you're attractive, but attractive != fat in their minds; so they can't reconcile a fat person being pretty.

It pisses me off. I am fat. I am beautiful. These things DO compute, thankyouverymuch. I realize our culture propagates this myth, but supermodels do not, in fact, have a monopoly on beauty!

Not just even attractive, but just likable. Some folks just don't like fat people, so they have a hard time reconciling the fact when they get to know a fat person as a person, and actually enjoy their company.

I explain to people that "fat" is not an insult or anything shameful, it's just descriptive!
