Pants Help?
I have a problem purchasing jeans and pants that I was hoping I could get some advice/direction on. I'm short (5'1") and pants always either fit through the hips and won't zip/button, or they button fine but I have yards of fabric around my stomach and thighs. My measurements are 48/49 in hips and 44/45 in waist. I usually buy "low-ride" pants in a higher size and wear them on my actual waist, but I now need dress pants that actually fit. I would also like some recommendations on pencil skirts that don't cut too far in on the waist or stick out on the hips. All the size charts that I've seen usually have an 8-10 in difference between waist and hips and even though I swear I am not apple-shaped, my measurements say that I am. Help?
