eShakti dress length question

May 10, 2011 01:22

Hello, fellow fats! I have just graduated with a master's degree and am thus in need of clothes that are not a) a black v-neck top and jeans or b) too short because I bought it from Lane Bryant using a coupon since I couldn't afford anything else/I was desperate. In particular, I'm embracing the concept of wearing dresses and skirts! I now own three knee-length skirts and am getting close to preferring them over pants.

Since I'm building up a professional wardrobe, I'm looking at some dresses and skirts on eShakti (This one and this one in particular). Knee-length skirts are more flattering on me than long ones, and I was wondering what the custom skirt lengths were like in reality. In the picture that pops up when you choose a skirt length, the below-the-knee length looks like it's just an inch or two below the knee, which would still be really flattering for me. In person, is this still the case? Is there a big difference between the knee-length and below-the-knee-length? I ask because I'm going to be working with K-12 students and don't want to wear something too short. I don't want to order knee-length skirts and then find that they're actually above-the-knee!

I hope this post made sense!
