Took the plunge!

I've been dithering about what to do with my graying head of hair. The oldest dye is what I once read as "menopause red," and the newest, about three months ago, was a light blondish brown, in an attempt to bridge the red to my natural gray.

I'm also dealing with scalp psoriasis, so short hair would let my poor skin get more sunshine, and quitting the dye would stop stressing the skin any worse.

I went back through a bunch of haircut pics, and saw how wonderfully brave so many of you have been... and finally decided it was time.

I am in no way a fashion plate, but I AM fat, and I thought maybe seeing how nicely my cut turned out could possibly bolster some other fence-sitter. Also, I think natural gray can be gorgeous; I'm hoping mine comes in all silver and sparkly soon.

So far, I love it! I just hope it warms up here (Chicago) soon!
