Underlayers for Enell Bra

Feb 09, 2011 22:49

I finally contacted Enell to get a custom bra. They are absolutely lovely to deal with. I got a sample (size 6 band, size 7 cup), and then had a long call today with the lady who works with custom orders for changes. End result is going to be a 5 1/2 size band, and a 7 cup with a 1" shorter shoulder strap and higher arm holes. I'm really looking forward to having a bra that actually fits me. All this (two phone calls included) for $15 over the standard size pricing.

BUT, the problem with Enell bras is that they have a huge seam right across the breast in the front. It's completely obvious under even a sweater. So I've been wearing a thicker cotton camisole underneath my shirts. Which is OK, but I end up with wrinkles in the stomach area if I wear anything tight.

So I'm looking for recommendations for an underlayer that's thick enough to hide the seam, but tight enough to not leave a bunch of fabric for wrinkling. I am not adverse to shapewear, but the Spanx I tried on had a C-cup size top portion which meant that its seam ended up right on my boob anyway. I don't know why they couldn't make it seamless.

shopping, bras, help!
