They are... kind of :). I got them in a clearance basket, but they look very similar to a pair that Avenue currently has - brown chevron patterned and all.
I haven't been pleased with the quality of Avenue's tights though - I bought three pairs, and all three ripped the first time I put them on. And I was careful. So, buyer beware? But where else can one find such great patterned tights, especially at a brick&mortar store and not online?
The microfiber tights wear like iron. Though the plum/light grey are a lighter fabric this year. The patterned ones rip easily and most of them run really small.
Big second about the lacy patterned ones ripping before you can get them on and also running very small. I DO NOT recommend them AT ALL.
While I'm here, are the microfiber ones the same size that they were last year? I have not bought any this season, and after a disastrous experience with a pair of lacy patterned ones that ripped *immediately* and then were too small to wear, I've been afraid to buy the solids now too!
I don't have any of the microfiber ones. I bought the patterned ones 2 sizes too big on purpose since I HATE tights to be too tight, and also because it's been my experience that tights size charts don't take into account how pear shaped I really am. Or butternut squash shaped. :)

It's a dilemma.
