Etsy Recommendation
Hello, I am just writing to give a glowing review to Raven of Crickit Unique Handmade Wearables on Etsy.
I put out an alchemy request for this dress to be made for my Halloween cos(play)tume. After reading her reply I checked her reviews in the shop and browsed her Flickr...
I wish that I could just cut and paste the conversations that went back and forth between us, because I can't give a high enough recommendation for this woman. I had never purchased something through alchemy before, and was extremely skeptical. Raven not only addressed every. single. nagging. detail. I was worried about (items like non-clingy fabric, simplicity of the design, apple body shape issues and "shelf-butt" concerns) but she did so with the greatest of patience that really put me at ease. If you look at her Flickr, you'll see how talented she is in an instant. This dress fits like a glove, her customer service level is pushing 200% and at the end of the day.. she gave me exactly what I wanted.
AND MORE. Because she offered to add a corset to the back (which I know is not an exact replica, shh) and I couldn't resist.
She took me through the entire buying process with totally open and prompt communication, and even exercised her graciousness when I emailed her the "I'M DYING TO SEE, DO YOU HAVE ANY PIX YET???" hyper chihuahua message when my impatience got the best of me.
These are cell phone pictures, clearly, but I couldn't wait. This dress is perfectly made, and feels wonderful on.
PS: I requested that the skirt be a little bit fuller, too.
