Hey aaaall - I'm just curious - for those who have experience buying IGIGI clothing, and dresses in particular, do they run small, large, or perfect? My mother (yes, she's fabulous) is talking about buying me this dress, so...
In my experience with ordering about 5or 6 items, igigi sizing varies substantially by item, so make sure you look at that item's size chart.
In several cases, I was between sizes and ordered the larger size, and wish I had ordered the smaller size instead. Generally if my bust was in the middle of the suggested fit, I liked the way the items fit.
That dress isn't one of the things I've had experience with, though, and a quick look a the size chart seems to indicate that if it is accurate, it is running smaller than some other things did.
Thank you for the info. I was kind of in the middle - the bust measurement in the size I normally wear was fine, if on the slightly large size, and the waist measurement was slightly small, so I just bought it and, fingers crossed and putting faith in the miracle of stretch satin, it'll be fine.
I think your mom asked me about this on myspace. Are you in London? Give me your measurements and I can ask here what size would fit you teh best for that dress. You can email me at ozlem@igigi.com
Haha, that's so weird to be put in contact with you here as well as through my mom. I've actually already ordered the dress, but I'll post again with pictures when it comes; shall I post the pictures on the site as well?
