Hi all,
I posted a few days ago about the
Target Kaden boot, and wanted to post an outfit with them!
To recap, I wear a size 11, and they zipped over my ~19" calves. They come about 4 inches below my knees and I'm 5'8". They were tight, and hard to get on, mainly due to the weird back zipper not going down far enough, but once I got them on they were roomy in the foot. They were also difficult to zip, but do not despair - once I got them zipped (after undoing the top buckle), they started stretching out immediately. After a few minutes of wearing them I could get the top buckle refastened, and they've continued to stretch out today. That's the beauty of cheap plastic :)
You can't tell, but they have an exposed metal zipper in the back that I love - it adds some visual interest when walking away (well, other than my awesome backside).
Outfit details:
Dress: Target size 2,
modifiedBoots: Target, mentioned above
Cardigan: also Target. Whoa, I am totally a Target shill today.
Locket: from husband
Leather patchwork purse: garage sale, $3
*Just a note that boot shaft circumferences (sounds so nasty and fun) tend to grade up as the shoe size goes up, so the circumference of a size 11 boot will probably be greater than that of a size 8 boot, etc.
More pics and sass at my
blog ETA: I may have gotten a magic pair of these boots, since lots of commenters have had opposite experiences than me: the boots not fitting.
