yeah, this is really just the starting point for fitting a bra, to be honest. like, in the store we would have someone try the size they measure at and then check the fit on that bra and go from there. it's really a process. it would be pretty hard to order a perfectly fitting bra online without ever having shopped with the brand before. most people don't know what a perfect fitting bra even looks or feels like, though :(

you're maybe a demi cup? (i'm the same way) which means you're fuller in the bottom of the cup and a full coverage bra is usually way empty in the top of the cup. if that's the case then when we take the second measurement we cut the difference in half, so 8 inches becomes 4 inches and a G cup becomes a DD cup. or DDD if you're inbetween sizes.

this is a really good point you make and hopefully a testament to how difficult it is to just semi-blindly order a bra. like someone else said though, it's also pretty difficult to find your correct size if you're shopping with someone in the store who has no idea how to do a proper bra fitting.

I'm not the OP, but I took your advice about the demi cup and HOLY CRAP... first bra ever that has ever fit correctly. So thank you!
