Seeking extended size boots
I'm looking for 2 quite specific things that I'm hoping you lovely and amazing fats can help me with. I'll post them separately so that I can keep the results straight.
The first is boots. I wear size 11.5(US) with 21.5 inch calves. They need to be knee high, relatively flat (like no more than 2 inch heel, and/or a little bit of platform is ok). I want leather, suede could be ok, but not patent. Black. Versatile, professional, upscale (well done boots that will last and I can wear to work or play).
I know there were resources for that, but searching back, I can't find them. I'd also take ideas for custom boots if they were here in the SF Bay Area (so that I could talk to them and they could pat me on the head and tell me it'll all be ok).
If you've had boots altered, I'm up for that, but I want lots of details - what you originally got, who altered them and how they were altered and how you like them now. I want these boots to be exactly what I want, so I'm willing to pay for them and I'm willing to search and work on this project.
