OOT Days..

Hello Fatshionistas! It's finally the weekend!!  After scrolling through many, MANY pages here on fatshionista, I've been brave enough to photograph some outfits that I wore this week!  WHOA - it's hard to take pics of yourself!  Even with a timer, my "poses" seemed strange..So I brought my trusty phone to the place where I thought there would be a full length mirror - the bathroom down in the subway!  As it turned out, there wasn't a full length mirror, but as I am not wearing fabulous shoes this week, it's not a big deal..Maybe as the warmer weather arrives I'll have to invest in a longer mirror...! Excuse the randomness of the photos - again, I'M NEW!

You Fats are so inspirational - and the OOTD is such a clever idea!  It's really a great way to see what other larger people are wearing, and in all the comments that I've read, I've not found a single overtly negative thing! Kudos to you!

Now - onto the fatshion!

I wore a great tank dress with a lace skirt from torrid, seen here, with black booties and sparkly grey tights, to go out dancing with some friends last night!  Sadly there are no pictures of me in the dress, but click on that link to see it...My booties are cuter, IMO, than the ones on the model!

Next up is nothing too exciting, but a good representation of what I wear to teach on a day to day basis..I'm an ESL teacher in Korea, and the dress code is VERY relaxed.  Plus when working with kids, I try to stay appropriate as far as necklines and hemlines...

LOL - I thought this was a clever way to get a full length pic...if you look closely you can see the slouchy boots and the hem of the skirt...

Coat - given to me by a seemingly not so fat friend (SURPRISE It fit! Goes to show that every Fat is different!)...from the UK, no tag.
Pink Miniskirt - Torrid
Grey Top - Suzy Sheer
Cardigan - Old navy
Earrings - street vendor in Korea
This outfit was well received by my students, who all asked me if I was going to a party after work...Fashion in Korea has shown me that ANYTHING goes, now I just need to find it in my size!

This next outfit is also something I'd wear on any given day to teach.

Coat - from the UK, no tags
Scarf - Torrid
Black Vest - Ricki's
Blue T - Ricki's
Grey tank - Old Navy
Black jeggings - Hydraulic via Torrid (***THESE PANTS ARE AMAZING. So comfortable, and warm..check out Torrid if you're interested, they are a new purchase!)
Bangle - F21
Earrings - street vendor in Korea
Gold chain and locket - gift from Mom

I wanted to show you a few more pics of random "Cass" - showing you that I do actually love to smile, but LJ won't allow me to upload a picture right now! Another day you'll see me smiling, as my OOTD pics don't have many smiles... :)

Here's what I had for lunch, in case you're interested in Korean food...mmm...it's called "jae-yuk da bap", which roughly translates to spicy pork with rice! One of my favorite meals in Korea!

Thanks for looking!
