I've seen many posts on here for folks looking for winter coats. I bought an awesome coat last winter from Lands End - the Delancey coat - and wanted to let you guys know that they are one sale for about half the price right now (one is $80, the other $90).
Check it out

I'm not sure of the difference, I think one is warmer than the other by about 10 degrees, and I think I have the less warm one... but it is a hefty coat and kept me warm in the pacific northwest where it rains and snows, but probably doesn't get below 0. I paid about $170 for mine... so get while the getting is good!
Sizing comments:
I have mine in a 1x and it fits well, though the hips are a little tighter than I'd like I can still layer significantly underneath. I'm 45/50/53. I wear a 1x or a 2x in other coats I've tried from old navy and target.
I especially like the hood - it is big enough for my huge head and huge hair, which isn't always the case.
