Fat Girl Flea Market Finds
I was waiting for this day since I left the last one! I loved the previous FGFM "run" and I loved this one as well. Last "run" I was a lil upset that I left with one thing (I didnt have a job at the time!) so I wanted to make up for it this year!
My shopping mule (thats what he calls himself) came along for the hunt. If you went earlier in the day you probably saw me....girl in the green "I <3 NY" shirt with the skinny guy holding women's clothes. I swear I didn't make him carry anything...he volunteered! :)

Here's what I found. (excuse my hair and bare face, I cleaned and cooked after the market! Made an awesome meatloaf though!)
The best shirt ever....I love plaid. And blue is now my "go to" color!
The green blazer and the white skirt I picked up from the flea market, I may have to redo the hem on this skirt as it tore when I pulled it out of my bag. The teal tank is Lane bryant. That shiny-glowing thing is my reflective vest for work. It's an eyesore in any wardrobe!
This shirt was so awesome I wasn't gonna leave without it. Very 80's and reminds me of a bridge. ::shrugs:: My face does that on its own, btw.
Maybe I should have worn a better bra! Anyway, I liked the pattern. Needed something that was a lil more "casual corporate" for interviews and stuff. Or maybe it's club wear...I guess it depends on how you accesorize it.
And this is the pound of skirts I found.....it was a good FGFM run for skirts this year!
I bought other things but was too lazy to take more pictures. :P

I hope that everyone has had as great a turn out as I did! Thank you to all those that put the FGFM together and the fine ladies and gents who freely gave their helpful opinions. It's been an uplifting and positive experience as well as a wardrobe-beneficial endeavor. Hope to see this happen again next year!
