Okay, since it'll be thrown out here anyways and I am sort of courious: this does apply to everyone who's not a mod, yes? And someone will probably ask if it's retro active. Tell me it's not cause retro active rules are bullshit.

Not retroactive, because that's just bizarre. This applies to everyone, period. Mods only delete posts that are defaced (and only then because we can't edit them) and even comments by overt trolls aren't deleted, just screened, so only the mods and OP can see them. We also occasionally freeze comments but that doesn't happen real often anymore.

Are you sure that's still the case? Once upon a time you couldn't edit posts as a maintainer and these days you can - found this out recently for a comm i now mod.

I can understand mods not wanting to, but I thought I'd let you know that you can (only not in the html section, but the rich text tab)

This is excellent news! Thank you. I doubt we'd use it except in rare cases, but it's good to know.
