advice and help!
Fatshionistas, I desperately need some help. My husband and I have made the big splurge and are attending an inaugural gala on Jan 20. The gala is "semi-formal/black tie" and I'm having a fatshion brain lapse. So far I've found two different dresses that I think might work, but I'm completely confused about accessories and shoes.
The first dress is this one from Macy's. I really like it, but it only comes in a 0x, which I fear may be too small. I ordered it on the hope that it might work.
The second dress is from Igigi, it can be found here.
I am, according to the Igigi site, an OVAL shape. This means that I carry most of my weight in the front, have a flat butt, stick legs, and broad shoulders...like a walking egg! :oD
Does anyone have suggestions for dresses, shoes, accessories? HALP!
For the record, I'm 5'8", about 240ish pounds, wear an 18-20.
