Kiyonna

I'm new to this community and love all of the great posts!

I've contemplated buying a girlie dress from Kiyonna so many times, I've lost count.  My issue is that when I've bought blouses from them, like this one: http://www.kiyonna.com/plus-size-clothing/SALE07_Separates/22082803, the bust line always falls about 3" too low for me.  The bust area ( Read more... )

I haven't ordered from Kiyonna either, but I think those dresses might work for you (maybe with a camisole underneath tho). As pictured on the model, the bust looks too small for her, causing the waistline to ride up in the front.

On second thought... looking at your measurements, it appears that youre fairly well-endowed in the bust! What do you think causes the problem with the bustline of the blouses you had before?

I think most of their tops are made for a bigger bustline, I'm a B cup, and it seems like they're made for D cup or so. I think that's why they don't fit properly.

Maybe this means I SHOULD order! I'm having the opposite problem in my post about jackets below.

I have a bigger bustline but Kiyonna dresses always fit me weird...I dunno why. I've ordered from them twice already, and they don't seem to fit me right,(I'd order my size, a size down and a size up just to make sure) it's either it's too big on the bust area or the sleeves look sloppy. I dunno, I've stopped ordering, too bad cause they have nice stuff.

Ditto that. . . I ordered several gorgeous shirts and had a similar problem. I wish they'd make a "plus petites" line for shorter women. . . all of their clothes are made for the same model.

I bought a couple of their wrap style shirts-- the crisp cotton style was way too big at the bust, the jersey-like style was much better, it didn't poof out at the bust. Fabric and cut make a huge difference.

This has absolutely nothing to do with your post, lol, but maybe you can help me out. I got my haircut super short awhile back and it's growing out, and right now, I'm styling it pretty much so that it looks about identical to the hair in your icon... and it's my favorite style on me yet. I need it trimmed though and I'm kinda afraid they'll change the look completely, since the original cut is actually pretty much totally different than how I've been styling it. Do you have a larger picture or a picture of that cut that you know of somewhere, so that I can take it with me? Or at least look at it?

And by the way, welcome! lol

Too funny, I can email you a copy of it, it's the most recent pic of myself that I have...

Wow! I had no idea that it was low in the back- thanks for letting me know! That completely changes my perspective about it. I don't typically wear things with a double v (v-neck in the front and in the back).
