I love everything about your outfit except the sweater. The shoes are an especially fabulous shade! My issues with the sweater probably relate to my personal "rules" against tan/beige colors, horizontal stripes, and turtlenecks though. None of those things seem to work for me, and to see them all together in one garment... !!! However the necklace does seem to help break up the turtleneck silhouette, and I don't really see anything too wrong with the sweater on YOU!
I myself have just recently broken my fear/hatred of 'horizontal stripes.' Not that I'm going to go out and buy everything ever made with a horizontal stripe, but it is not to be feared! I've decided to no longer discount entire garments because of some 'rule.'
It did take me a while to get there though. And this may be the only one I have. But I'm coming to lurve it more and more.
I used to do a LOT of horizontal stripes, and then I stopped completely. Maybe it's time to revisit them - especially with a chunky necklace and jacket to break them up like you did.
I think you look cute. I have that skirt from Old Navy, and I love it. It's so comfortable and versatile, I think. Those shoes are great too... I'd love to see a close up of them.
The only thing is, it looks like the blazer might not fit correctly... it looks a little too small, and the arms look a tad too long. But, of course, that could just be the angle in the picture.
My thoughts exactly on the skirt. I'll work on a close-up of the cute shoes. And your correct in your blazer assessment, it is a touch snug, but i love it and continue to wear it.
