I work at a creative design agency, so the dress code is definitely lax. I try to not roll in wearing sweats and t-shirts like the guys.

Check, check, check me out )

I know! I might have planned the outfit around the shoes. Which is pretty much my M.O.

Really cute, I'd suggest shortening the skirt just a wee bit.

Agreed. It's the first time wearing the skirt and it does seem to be a hair long.

it wouldn't look as long if you wore heels. The length is a pretty normal length. The flats with it though make your bottom half look short.

I love everything about your outfit except the sweater. The shoes are an especially fabulous shade! My issues with the sweater probably relate to my personal "rules" against tan/beige colors, horizontal stripes, and turtlenecks though. None of those things seem to work for me, and to see them all together in one garment... !!! However the necklace does seem to help break up the turtleneck silhouette, and I don't really see anything too wrong with the sweater on YOU!

I myself have just recently broken my fear/hatred of 'horizontal stripes.' Not that I'm going to go out and buy everything ever made with a horizontal stripe, but it is not to be feared! I've decided to no longer discount entire garments because of some 'rule.'

It did take me a while to get there though. And this may be the only one I have. But I'm coming to lurve it more and more.

I used to do a LOT of horizontal stripes, and then I stopped completely. Maybe it's time to revisit them - especially with a chunky necklace and jacket to break them up like you did.

I think you look cute. I have that skirt from Old Navy, and I love it. It's so comfortable and versatile, I think. Those shoes are great too... I'd love to see a close up of them.

The only thing is, it looks like the blazer might not fit correctly... it looks a little too small, and the arms look a tad too long. But, of course, that could just be the angle in the picture.

Overall though, very fun and cute outfit.

My thoughts exactly on the skirt. I'll work on a close-up of the cute shoes. And your correct in your blazer assessment, it is a touch snug, but i love it and continue to wear it.

Thanks for the feedback.
