Bravissimo do fantastic ones, but they only seem to have one style on their website at the moment. They're definitely worth checking out, though!

I forgot to say that I need a US size 22 or so. I think Bravissimo WOULD be good, but the size range is not big enough! I fall just off the top end of the size chart. :(

oy, i forgot bravissimo doesn't go bigger. in that case, yr probably best off getting one that fits where yr largest and getting it taken in. that tailor guy in harvard square (TOTALLY blanking on the name, it might be across the street from american apparel?) fixed up a dress of mine pretty well.

Oh! Harvard Square huh? That's easy for me. :D Did you have the guy do something involved? Ive been reading reviews for tailors in Best of Boston and Citysearch, and I see a LOT of people just want things hemmed. Hemming is so darn (get it?! :D ) easy that it doesnt inspire a lot of confidence that the tailor could do something complicated, and do it well. TY for your input!

he took in a dress that was too big, added princess seams and stuff. i had to guide him thru it a little (i have a very high waist), but he had good bedside manner. i wish i could remember his name...something italian-sounding? but yeah, he seemed to know his stuff

I'll try some more searches and see if I can find him. Your alteration sounds similar to what I'll need done to this jacket. TY again!
