after my post asking what you were wearing for NYE, friends called and..I HAD PLANS....but nothing to wear. And I do love to wear dresses when I get the chance, so I ran to the towncenter & picked through the leftovers from post-holiday shoppers & NYE dress shoppers!
I went to ross & had no luck, and then I went to TJMAXX & found some dresses:
I tried this on because of the pattern & cute bow, but it made me look pregnant.
I really loved the shape & color of this one, but I wasn't comfortable enough with my belly pooch to get this one. I actually liked this best.
I tried this thing on, which you can see my obvious distate for :P
&than, I tried this one on, on a whim & decided to buy it for NYE celebrations:
I had to rush home because it was also my niece's 1st birthday party, where I wore this:

I had enormously good time...but I was so exhausted from partying 3-1130, that I couldn't find it in myself to muster any strength to go out for NYE...so now I have a new dress and nowhere to wear it :)

This is what I wore to eat sushi downtown, mini-party, play guitar hero, have some cocktails, have veggie stromboli at 1am & who knows what else!
black neck, old navy ; cropped jacket, target ; jeans, charlotte russe ; heels, nine west / ross
PS: I HIGHLY reccommend these vneck from old navy. They have a bunch of colors & are very comfortable!
Oh yes, I always forget - I'm 5'3 & a pretty solid size 14, apple shaped : )
